Who are the SPA Certified Professionals?
Our SPA Certified Members are people working in the world of Spiritual Wellness - they provide a variety of services such as Tarot or Oracle Card Readings, Astrology, Spiritual Ministry, Mediumship, Reiki and Energy Work, and more. Certification with SPA means that our team has vetted these individuals; they have proven that they are skilled professionals in their field, they have verified their training and experience, and they have agreed to follow our SPA Code of Ethics in their business practices.
How can I hire a SPA Certified Professional for my Spiritual Wellness needs?
Each of our Certified Spiritual Advisors has a listing on our website. You can go to their individual profile page to learn more about them and decide if they are right for you. Their profile will include their email address and any relevant links to their website or social media pages so you can reach out and contact them about their services. None of our Certified Professionals will ever send you an unsolicited message about their services - you have to reach out to them first to initiate contact!
How can I become a SPA Certified Professional?
If you are working in the field of Spiritual Wellness and would like to become SPA Certified, reach out to us! First we will ask you to fill out an application and if you seem like you are a good fit for our association, we will schedule an interview. In the interview we may ask to verify your experience, training, and skill. Additionally we will review the SPA Code of Ethics. If you are approved, you will become SPA Certified. To be listed on our website and have access to our Member Benefits, there is an annual Membership Fee. We are a non-profit organization and your Membership Fee helps us provide all of our Member Benefits. See our Membership page for details.
How can I find Certified Professionals who are Local to my Area?
We are working on creating a page where you can search for members by Location. Hopefully this section will be added soon!
Meanwhile, most of our Spiritual Professionals offer their services online, so you can get many services from our Certified Spiritual Advisors no matter where you live!
Is there a Local Chapter of SPA Certified Professionals in my area?
As our organization grows and we get new members, we hope to add many local chapters in many areas! A Local Chapter will consist of two or more Certified Professionals in the same area who can then coordinate to attend local events together, host local SPA events, and recruit more local SPA members. Currently we have a local Chapter in the Seattle/Tacoma WA area (USA). If you are a current SPA Certified Professional and you are interested in leading a local chapter for your area, let the SPA Admin Team know!
I want to become a Professional Spiritual Advisor, but I don't yet have the experience or training. What should I do?
Our upcoming events will offer workshops and classes for people of any level to gain skills and knowledge. Whether you are new and just learning your skill, or you are experienced and want to continue refreshing your education and boosting your skills, our Certified Professionals will be offering Classes, Workshops, Courses, and Mentorship. Check the Events page frequently and follow us on Social Media for updates about upcoming events!
What is SPA's affiliation with the Aquarian Tabernacle Church?
We are a non-profit organization that is Sponsored by The Aquarian Tabernacle Church (ATC). The ATC sponsored the founding of SPA and helps us cover any business expenses that are not covered by Membership Fees or donations. As such, the ATC has some oversight of our business operations. Certified Members do not need to be members of the ATC in order to be Certified. Individual membership with SPA is separate from any personal affiliation with the ATC.
